Initial visit

PREPARING FOR YOUR INITIAL VISIT:

Please make sure to provide us with your most recent x-rays taken within 1 to 3 years. If you have dental insurance we would require you to provide us your insurance information 48 hours prior to your appointment to make sure we have the breakdown of your benefits ready to present you an accurate estimate for any necessary dental treatment. Also, to speed up the process at your initial visit you can access the New Patient Forms under the New Patient Tab on our website. If we can have the forms completed and brought in on the day of your appointment, it will no longer be necessary for you to come in 20 minutes prior to your appointment.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR INITIAL VISIT:

If you are scheduled for a new patient comprehensive exam, the Dr. will evaluate all your teeth, measure your gum pockets to make sure you don’t have periodontal disease, take intra-oral( facial) images/ X-rays( if necessary) to indicate any fractures or decay on the different surfaces of the teeth. Once the Dr. does a full assessment on all the teeth, he/she will present you a treatment plan going over your x-rays and intra-oral images.
